This newest ball from Ebonite is in their Mission brand line and has some special features. First things first: you’ll still get the trusted and true Mission core that’s been there since the beginning. But this Mission is dressed a bit differently with a GB 12.7 coverstock that’s billed to provide longer and more angular motion. It’s finished off with 500/1000 Abralon with Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish.
Ebonite has added some extra excitement to its Mission Unknown’s release that you may find when you crack open its sealed box. The majority of the balls are black but roughly 10% are red and 1% gold. For those lucky enough to get the ultra rare gold, extra prizes await from Ebonite when you contact them. I guess this suspense is where the “unknown” name comes from.
