When it comes to achieving a proper bowling armswing and release, written instructions can only take you so far: it usually takes seeing things with your own eyes to truly understand the relevant concepts and learn how to apply them to your own form.
To that end, this article will present some video footage that we’ve curated of various professional bowlers. The shots have been slowed down so that you can more clearly and thoroughly see what’s going on.
As you watch, here are some things you can think about. What are the core techniques or tendencies that you can identify in all of them? And are there any differences you can see in these bowlers’ swings and releases?
