Browse bowling equipment on Amazon.com
Being avid bowlers, we’ve naturally done our fair share of shopping for bowling equipment. I remember the day I made the best decision of my bowling career and got my first custom-fitted ball and shoes after several months of using rented shoes and plastic house balls.
Since there are a few different ways to buy bowling equipment and everyone wants to save money, we’ve created this guide to show you how to find cheap bowling equipment from the top names in bowling.
Where to Shop
First, a department store or sporting goods shop will usually have some bowling equipment, but this is not the best idea. The selection is usually poor, the prices are comparatively high, and the staff won’t be able to help you. You can also look for bowling gear at a local pro shop, which will have a larger selection and higher quality equipment. This is a much better option than a department store.
But in our experience, we’ve found the biggest selection and much cheaper prices by shopping for bowling equipment online. In addition, you can more easily compare features as well as read reviews from other bowlers before making your decision.
If you’re buying a ball online, you can take it to a local pro shop to get it drilled after it is delivered. Most shops offer this service very cheaply, and you will usually save a lot of money doing it this way.
Cheap Bowling Equipment Online
Our recommendation is Amazon.com, where you can choose from a huge variety at discount rates.
Amazon.com is the biggest name in online retail, but you may not have known that they are also a central hub for inexpensive bowling equipment. Use the handy narrowing features on the left side of the screen to group products by price, discount percentage, average customer review and much more.

There are several different bowling retailers competing for space in Amazon’s marketplace, and this is a big reason why there are such extremely low prices. You will find hundreds of bowling balls at 50% or more of their retail price, and excellent deals on other merchandise as well.
We hope this guide helps you find some great bowling equipment without breaking the bank. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and we’ll be glad to help you out.
